⬡ Vespiary

The Atlas

People whose answers point the same way gather into bubbles — shared models of reality, found by measurement, not self-declared labels. 39 people placed so far. Below ~150 people the finest clusters are still blurry, so v1 places everyone against five well-defined archetypes; the map sharpens as answers accumulate.

How to read these maps

WHAT THIS SHOWS

Where everyone sits relative to everyone else, per topic — measured from answers, never from self-chosen labels. Near dots think or believe alike on that topic; the shaded regions are the bubbles (vespiary chambers) the measurements found.

WHAT IT CAN'T SHOW

Exact closeness — a map is a flat sketch of a many-dimensional thing, so trust the match % on a profile over eyeballing distances. It also can't place anyone who hasn't answered enough questions in that topic.

WHAT TO DO WITH IT

Pick the topic you care about, find your ringed dot, and tap the dots near it. To see everyone ranked against you instead, use You vs everyone.

The maps

Map:

The same people, re-plotted per topic — how they reason. Watch a bubble hold together on one map and scatter on the next: that's a group that agrees about this topic for entirely different reasons, or the reverse.

45 people plotted in this space · 18 people aren't placed yet — this map needs 10+ of its 47 questions answered before it can place someone. Circles are members; diamonds are the figures & schools, plotted from their documented positions. Distance on the map means difference of mind: positions come from a PCA projection of everyone's answers in this pool, and the bubbles below are drawn over their members as translucent regions. Axis labels name whatever each axis turned out to track, measured after the fact — where nothing tracked strongly, the axis honestly says so.

Empirical Naturalists 20 people Knowledge comes from observation and testing; confidence follows the data, testimony and mechanism bow to trials. Scripture-First Theists 11 people A creator exists and revealed truth matters; confidence in the faith of one's upbringing survives debunking arguments, and experts don't outrank it. Village Traditionalists 5 people Inherited rules earn their keep until their reason is found; promises bind, the past is judged gently, and voting is a duty. Mystical Pluralists 3 people Reality is bigger than measurement: testimony, experience and simplicity carry real weight, and the pattern matters more than the mechanism. Guarded Skeptics 0 people Institutions and paid advocates get discounted hard; one study moves nothing, and anomalies are presumed real until proven error.
